Summer Fair 2016

Sunday 22nd May 2016

School Field and Hall

Mrs Bresnen and the PTA organised a fantastic summer fair for us all. We were a little worried about the weather forecast but at 11am we were all setting up outside. By 12 we were running in and out of a range of gazebos getting very wet, by the start of the fair at 2 we had dried off and the sun made a welcome appearance for the rest of the afternoon. There was a range of activities on offer, an inflatable football pitch, beat the goalie, inflatable slide and castle, hook a duck, face painting, welly wanging and a chance to meet out local emergency services. There were also a wide range of stalls including external companies, tombolas, refreshments and a range of Year 6 Entrepreneur stalls. Live Entertainment on the afternoon included Frodsham Gymnastics Club, Year 6 Drumming Circle, Manor Samba Gang and performances and a workshop by Karamba Samba. As the sun had decided to come out we were also able to dunk our Headteacher Mr Devereux-Roberts and local Cheshire West Councillor Lynn Riley.

Many thanks to all of those who had jobs on the day, thanks to those who performed, thanks to Taylor Opticians  and Cowards for sponsorship and thanks to all of you who spent your money to support our PTA. We have raised approximately £1300.  Fantastic!
