 Welcome to Hamza Yassin class

Miss McDonnell is our teacher with Miss Hopley and Mrs Deegan as our teaching assistants, we are all in Year 2.  We work with Mrs Anstice on Friday mornings.  In Year 2 we get to go on our first residential trip with a one night stay. 

Our Big Questions include;

• Can we make a home for a Troll investigating the properties of materials? 
• Was London better before or after the Great Fire Of London? 

Who is Hamza Yassin?

Born in Sudan, Yassin moved to Northampton in the UK aged eight. He studied Zoology and eventually became a wildlife cameraman and presenter, known for his role as Ranger Hamza on CBeebies and his work on shows such as Countryfile and Animal Park, as well as presenting programmes about Scottish wildlife. In 2022, he showed another side to his talents when he won Strictly Come Dancing.
