Coronation Celebration Day 

4th May 2023

All around the school

We enjoyed our Coronation Day on the 4th May with a number of events around the school. The day started with an assembly all together (which inlcuded watching the coronation of Elsa, we sung Gospel Medley and The National Anthem) . Classes then participated in a number of activities including designing pyjamas for the King, building Buckingham Palace, making crowns, creating royal banquet menus, learning about Westminister Abbey. We lunch time we had a Picnic lunch in our Jubilee Garden. Year 5 almost managed all the notes required to play The National Anthem in Wider Opps. My Devereux-Roberts was assisted by some pupils to plant two more trees (Lime and Olive) in the Jubilee Garden.
