In March Mr Devereux-Roberts, Miss Billington and Mrs Anstice went to visit one of our partnership schools in Accra which is the capital of Ghana. This is the fifth visit for our school and our partnership continues to grow stronger as lasting friendships are maintained. The reciprocal visits are partly funded by The British Council.  As always we received a warm, smiling welcome and settled quickly into the week. We took gifts from Manor House families to the Nursery class and also donated the recorders which we were teaching with during the week. Miss Billington delivered some maths lessons in Key Stage One, Mrs Anstice taught 100ish children to play Hot Cross Buns on the recorder, Mr Devereux-Roberts gave frequent whole school speeches. We also ate, sang, danced, observed and played. Watch the film below to see how the week progressed. We are looking forward to hosting Living Star staff at our school in July. We are also starting a year of fundraising in the hope of bringing children to visit us in the summer of 2016.

The pupils above visited us a few years ago in Frodsham. Some have now started high school.  It was lovely to catch up with them.
