Central London
Our annual Year 6 visit was a spectacular action packed affair which squeezed in as many possible opportunities for our fantastic years sixes as was possible. On the Monday morning we boarded the train at Liverpool and two hours later arrived at Euston. We were to our accommodation for the next couple of nights which was the YHA at St Paul's. Monday afternoon involved an open top bus tour, a river boat cruise, a visit to the London Eye, shopping in Hamley's and M and M World followed by a meal at the Rainforest Cafe. After enjoying our cooked breakfasts on Tuesday morning we headed to the Natural HIstory Museum for a hands on workshop and time to explore, we then had a walk through Whitehall for a peak at Downing Street. The Frodsham Junior Mayors, Lily and Josh laid flowers on behalf of the school and signed a banner of love in memory of Jo Cox MP. We then had a tour of The Palace of Westminister (Parliament) before Pizza Express for our evening meal. Tuesday evening found us all at the theatre for a performance of The Lion King. Wednesday involved a tour of St Paul's Cathedral, climbing a lot of steps for some spectacular views, free time in Green Park and photo opportunities at Buckingham Palace.
